The Aurora University men's basketball team used a 10-0 run in the final 2:30 of the game to rally past the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons and win 75-73. The win clinched the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament for the Spartans.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The opening half was a back and forth contest between the Spartans and Falcons as the teams saw nine lead changes and the game tied eight other times.
AU trailed by two (26-24) at the five minute mark in the first half. A
Ty Carlson three gave the Spartans 27-26 which they continued to build on.
Carlson scored eight of the Spartans final 11 points of the half as they headed into the halftime intermission leading 38-33.
AU held on to the lead for the first 6:29 of the second-half and led by six (53-47) with just over half of the time in the period gone when
Henry Hudson converted a lay-up.
The Spartans led by three with under seven minutes to play before CUW tied the game 60-60 with 6:36 to go.
CUW went on to build an eight point lead (73-65) with 2:53 to play.
The AU defense picked up and a rally was in order. A 10-0 Spartan run with four points each from
Marcus Myers and
Ty Carlson followed.
Down one with 1:24 to play,
Max Vickers hit a lay-up that finished the comeback and gave AU a 74-73 lead.
Marcus Myers went one of two from the free throw line with four seconds to play, setting up CUW for one final shot as the Spartans led 75-73.
A desperation heave at the buzzer missed and the Spartans were victorious 75-73.
FOR THE SPARTANS
Ty Carlson had a game-high 20 points on 6-of-11 shooting from the field and added five rebounds.
Max Vickers had 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field.
Marcus Myers had 16 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Henry Hudson had eight points in nine minutes of action off the AU bench.
