The Aurora University baseball team played the host Thunder of Wheaton College at the Wheaton College Invitational on Saturday. The teams played a quick low scoring game with AU falling 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The teams combined for eight hits in the game.
- AU got singles from Adam Lipscomb and Mike Cherven in the second inning but could not manufacture a run.
- With two outs and none on in the sixth, Wheaton got a single, stole second and scored two batters later on a single.
- The Spartans were unable to manage a base runner in the final three innings and fell 1-0.
