HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans grabbed the lead at 25:19 with an unassisted goal from Andrea Colford.
IWU scored two goals including one with a woman advantage to lead 2-1 midway through the first.
At 14:36, Lauren Whitfield tied the game with an assist from Kenny Hughes.
IWU scored the final five goals of the first half to lead 7-2.
Andrea Colford opened the second half with a goal on an assist from Kenny Hughes.
AU pulled to 7-4 with a goal from Hughes on a Taylor Arcivar assist.
But IWU scored the next five goals to pull away to a 12-4 lead.
Spartan Kenny Hughes scored the games final goal for the eventual 12-5 score.
