The Aurora University men's lacrosse team took on Midwest Lacrosse Conference for Cornell College on Wednesday evening. The Spartans rolled the Rams 25-3, building a 20-0 lead well into the second-half before allowing the first goal against.

HOW IT HAPPENED
AU opened up an 11-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
Jason Koziol had three goals and an assist in the first four Spartan tallies, assisting on a
Joe Brandolino tally.
Bailey Smith and Koziol each had four first quarter goals.
The Spartans continued to dominate in the second, scoring six more times to lead 17-0 at halftime.
AU led 20-0 with just over nine minutes left in the third quarter before Cornell would finally find the back of the net.
The Spartans led 22-1 at the end of the third quarter.
AU led 25-1 before Cornell added a pair of late fourth quarter goals for the eventual 25-3 score.
