The 2017 spring trip to Tucson, Arizona is underway for the Aurora University baseball team and AU is 5-0 through the three days of games. The Spartans have five more games in Arizona before returning north. SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE vs. Simpson
- AU fell behind 3-0 after the top of the first and worked their way back, getting single runs in the first, second, sixth and the winning run in the bottom of the eighth for the 4-3 extra inning win.
- Jeff Mayes went 3-5 with a double, one run scored and one run batted in.
- Adam Lipscomb was 2-4 with a double and two runs scored.
- Elias McMahon threw seven innings, allowing three runs, four hits and struck out four in the no decision.
- Jeff Woods earned the win with one inning of relief. He went 1-3 with a double and one run batted in at the plate.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO vs. Simpson
- After trailing 1-0, AU scored the next 10 runs to win 10-2.
- Jeff Mayes went 3-4 with two triples, four runs scored and two runs batted in.
- Jeff Woods went 2-3 with two runs scored and one run batted in.
- Cole Davis went 1-2 with three runs batted in and one run scored.
- Michael Fidler went 1-3 with a double and two runs batted in.
- Tomas Aguilar threw six innings, allowing one unearned run, four hits and struck out four for the win.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE vs. Bethany Lutheran
- The Spartans scored seven runs in the first two innings and then put up seven in the top of the ninth to put the game away.
- Jeff Mayes went 5-7 with two runs scored and one run batted in.
- Adam Lipscomb went 4-5 with three doubles, three runs scored and three runs batted in.
- Michael Fidler went 2-4 with a home run, double, three runs scored and four runs batted in.
- Jeff Woods went 3-5 with a double, two runs scored and one run batted in.
- Colin Rivard went 2-4 with a home run and a double, three runs batted in and two runs scored.
- Jacob Stockman threw six innings, allowing four runs, nine hits and struck out three for the win.
- Dan Heiden threw the final three innings for his first collegiate save. He struck out three.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO vs. Wabash
- AU scored in five of the nine innings, including a pair of two run innings and a three run frame.
- Michael Fidler went 3-4 with three home runs, three runs scored and three runs batted in.
- Jeff Mayes went 2-4 with a double and two runs scored.
- Cole Davis went 1-4 with a double, three runs batted in and one run scored.
- Chris Roycroft threw 3-2/3 innings in relief of Fidler for the win. He struck out five.

- AU led 2-1 entering the bottom of the 8th inning and put up a 10 spot following a short delay due to the lights turning off.
- Adam Lipscomb went 2-3 with a home run, four runs scored and two runs batted in.
- Mike Cherven went 3-3 with a double, three runs batted in and one run scored.
- Jeff Mayes was 3-5 with a triple, double, one run scored and one run batted in.
- Kyle Blunt earned his first collegiate victory in his first collegiate start. He threw six innings, striking out eight and allowing one run.
- Austin Wiskow threw the final three innings for his first collegiate save. He struck out three and got out of a bases loaded jam in the 8th inning.
