The 2017 spring trip to central Florida and the Osceola Sports Complex in Kissimmee is underway for the Aurora University softball team and AU is 3-1 through the two days of games. The Spartans have four more games in Florida before returning north. SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE vs. Thomas More
- A four run sixth inning propelled AU to the 4-3 win.
- Mandey Shrader went 2-2.
- Sam Schloegel went 1-2 with one run scored.
- Josie Bachtell went 1-1 with two runs batted in as a pinch hitter.
- Elaine Walker went 1-4 with two runs batted in.
- Cat Yanis threw the complete game, scattering seven hits, three runs and struck out two.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO vs. Muskingum
- After trailing 2-0, AU scored a run each in the first, third and fourth before scoring the winning run in the eighth inning.
- Steph Starr went 2-3 with one run batted in.
- Britni Wilson threw all eight innings for the win, allowing three runs, six hits and struck out two.

- The Spartans scored all seven runs in the fourth and fifth innings with five in the fifth.
- Kaylee Hayton tossed a complete game shutout, striking out seven and allowing just two hits.
- Steph Starr was 2-3 with two runs scored and one run batted in.
- Laura Dierking was 2-3 with one run batted in and one run scored.
- Taylor Moore went 1-3 with a triple and two runs batted in.

- AU saw Coe score six runs in the fifth inning to take control of the game.
- Elaine Walker was 2-3 with one run scored.
