The Aurora University women's lacrosse team sprinted past the Hanover College Panthers on Tuesday afternoon, 16-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 1-0, AU scored five straight goals to take a commanding lead. Kendall Urban got the scoring started and as joined by Kenny Hughes, Taylor Arcivar and a pair from Lauren Whitfield.
The Spartans and Kenny Hughes traded goals with Hanover in the final 12 minutes.
AU took a 7-3 lead into halftime.
Hughes got the scoring started in the second half with her first of four tallies less than a minute into the second-half.
With the score 8-4, the Spartans rattled off seven straight goals to move the game to a running clock with 9:47 left in the game. Andrea Colford tallied a hat trick in the scoring run.
Spartan Taylor Arcivar wrapped up the games scoring with her third of the day and gave AU the 16-5 victory.
