The Aurora University Spartan baseball team took to the road on Sunday for a NACC doubleheader at Milwaukee School of Engineering. AU fell in game one behind a late inning Raider rally and bounced back to win game two 6-4.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE
- AU jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first with four hits including a double from Michael Fidler.
- A two-run home run from Jeff LaPage in the second gave the Spartans a 4-0 lead.
- MSOE scored an unearned run in the bottom of the second but AU led 4-1 still.
- In the third, a double from Cole Davis and a single from Nick Turner to score him gave the Spartans a 5-1 lead.
- MSOE added a run in the bottom of the fourth.
- Davis singled and scored on a Ty Jaquez single in the fifth and AU gave starter Elias McMahon a 6-2 lead.
- In the eighth, MSOE got two doubles and a single to score twice and cut the AU lead to 6-4.
- AU turned to Michael Fidler for the save in the ninth but two solo home runs and a walk-off two run home run gave MSOE the 8-6 win.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- AU scored one run without a hit in the first inning to lead 1-0.
- A three run third including a two-run home run from Adam Lipscomb gave AU a 4-0 lead.
- MSOE cut the AU lead in half in the fourth with a two-run home run.
- In the sixth, Austin Wiskow reached by a hit batsmen,moved to third on a Jeff Mayes double and scored on a wild pitch giving AU a 5-2 advantage.
- MSOE added a run in the sixth to stay within two at 5-3.
- Spartan John Barnes relieved Jeff Woods in the sixth and MSOE got one run to pull within 5-4 in the seventh.
- AU's Cole Davis hit a solo home run in the ninth for an insurance run.
- Barnes coasted the last two innings for his second save in as many days and giving Woods the win.
