HOW IT HAPPENED
AU controlled the contest throughout, jumping out to a 5-0 lead in the first half.
Lauren Whitfield got the scoring started 29 seconds into the game.
Kenny Hughes scored three straight for a hat trick before
Andrea Colford rounded out the first-half AU scorers.
Wartburg scored late in the first-half as AU led 5-1 at halftime.
Whitfield scored first again for AU in the second-half to push the lead to 6-1.
After one last Wartburg score, AU rounded out the game on a 4-0 run.
In the run to end the game, AU scores came from
Kendall Urban, Whitfield, Colford and
Kaylyn Gilmer.
AU comes home happy with a 10-2 win.
