The Aurora University softball team split a doubleheader with Wisconsin Lutheran College in the Spartans final regular season contests of the season. AU now turns their attention to the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME ONE
- The Spartans took a 2-0 lead in the first inning as AU took advantage of two free passes and three singles.
- Four hits by WLC in the bottom of the inning saw them tie the game at 2-2.
- AU took advantage of two WLC errors in the second to score once and lead 3-2.
- WLC scored six runs in the third on five hits and several walks by AU pitchers.
- The home team scored a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth for the 11-3 final score.

HOW IT HAPPENED - GAME TWO
- The Spartans got singles from Steph Starr and
Taylor Moore before
Laura Dierking singled to score them both and lead 2-0.
- In the second, AU's
Lauren O'Daniell singled and later scored on a sac fly from
Elaine Walker.
Mandey Shrader also scored on a double from
Josie Bachtell and AU led 4-0.
- AU got a double from
Ashley Pittman, run scoring single from O'Daniell and a triple from Shrader in the third to score two more runs and led 6-0.
- WLC scored an unearned run in the third on pitcher
Cat Yanis.
- In the seventh, Pittman hit her second double of the day and scored on a sac fly from Shrader and AU led 7-1.
- In the bottom of the inning, two AU errors extended the inning. With the bases loaded and one run in, AU went to
Britni Wilson to save the game. WLC scored two more runs before the final out was made but the Spartans held on to win 7-4.
