The Aurora University men's soccer team traveled to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for a night contest which pitted a pair of regionally ranked teams. AU fell to the Pioneers 2-1.

- In the 27th minute the Spartans got on the scoreboard first. Collin Foreman scored to give AU the lead.
- Spartan goalkeeper Phil Lewy and the AU defense made the 1-0 lead hold up as the teams went to halftime.
- 50 seconds into the second-half, Platteville tied the game.
- Midway through the second-half, Platteville scored again on what would end up being the game winning goal.
