HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU took a lead 4:48 into the game with
Luke Picek scoring off an assist from
Rudolfs Kalvitis.
- After taking the 1-0 lead into intermission, AU struck on the power play in the second.

Drew Doyon lit the lamp with assists to
Rihards Marenis and
Liam Stirtzinger.
- Leading 2-0 after two, AU goalie
Josh Boyko had 26 saves through two.
- In the third and on a penalty kill after a Boyko delay of game penalty, Trine broke up the shutout effort with a pp tally.
- The third saw AU have to scratch and claw but played solid defense in front of Boyko to hold on for the 2-1 victory.
