Spartan men tune up at NAIA vs. NCAA Challenge

The Aurora University men's track team had their second indoor meet of 2018 by competing in the NAIA vs. NCAA Challenge at Olivet Nazarene University. Picking up where they left off in last weekend, the Spartan men had an array of strong performances setting the bar for the season.

The Aurora 4x800 Relay team had an excellent day running themselves to a second place finish. Senior Nick Majka finished second in the High Jump while Senior Brandon Pichen finished second in the Weight Throw.

Next action for the Spartan men's track and field team comes on Friday, January 26 when they travel to Carthage College for the Tadd Metzger Invitational. Meet time is set for 3:30 p.m. in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
