The Aurora University women's volleyball team defeated Edgewood College on Friday night 3-0 (2517, 25-19, 25-22). The win clinched the 2018 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference title and AU's first conference championship since 2006 and fourth all-time.

HOW IT HAPPENED -
- The Spartans trailed midway through the opening set 14-11. After siding out Edgewood,
Nikki Lofshult served an ace which started a 7-0 run and AU led 19-14.
- AU went on to win the first set 25-17,
Katie Vondra had four kills and an ace in the set.
- The Spartans and Eagles went back and forth in the second set before the Spartans took control late and won 25-19.
- The third set was closely played with the Spartans grabbing the lead and maintaining the advantage until the final score of 25-22.
