The Aurora University Spartan women's soccer team wrapped up their 2018 campaign with final match with Concordia University Chicago where the winner clinched the final spot in the NACC playoffs.

RECORDS: Aurora University 5-8-3 overall and 4-5-2 in the NACC; Concordia University Chicago 6-12 overall and 6-5 in the NACC 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU fell behind in the 25^th minute after a Spartan turnover led to a long Cougar shot that hit off the AU goalkeeper's hands into the back of the net. AU trailed 1-0.
- In the 38^th minute Spartan goalkeeper Taylor Joiner made a leaping save by getting just enough of the ball for it to hit off the post and back into play to maintain the 1-0 deficit.
- With 1:32 the AU deficit grew to 2-0 after CUC scored on a cross. AU trailed 2-0 going into halftime.
- In the 84^th minute a Spartan corner kick found its way to a crowded box in front of the net. After both teams juggled the ball Anessa Munoz put the ball in the back of the net. AU trailed 3-1.
- AU fell to Concordia University Chicago 3-1
