The Aurora University women's volleyball team took the the 12th ranked team in the AVCA rankings in the second match of the day at the Washington University, St. Louis Baden Invitational. AU knocked off the host Bears 3-0 (25-15, 25-22, 25-10) after defeating Belhaven University 3-0 in the opening match (25-20, 25-17, 25-10).

- The Spartans trailed Belhaven 10-8 but three kills from
Imani Freeman gave the Spartans a 12-10 advantage.
- AU would go on to win 25-20.
- Once the Spartans got service in the second set, AU took off running and went on to win 25-17.
- In the third set, two early aces from
Katie Vondra and one from
Lindsey Simpson put AU ahead as they rolled to a 25-10 win.

- AU hit .352 in the match which included a .542 hit percentage in the third set.
- The first set saw the Spartans trail 1-0 and not trail again as they won 25-15.
- The second set was much closer as the teams traded leads and points with the score knotted 17-17.
- AU took an 18-17 lead and went on to get late service aces from
Emily Lines to put the set away, 25-22.
- The Spartans dominated the third and final set, hitting .542 while also serving up four aces.
