The Aurora University men's basketball team was out-rebounded by 20 with 19 opponent offensive rebounds in an 83-73 loss at North Central College on Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A fast start for the Spartans saw AU up 11-0 3:31 into the game.Â
- With 8:48 left in the first half, a three from
Jarek Hotwagner had AU up by nine at 23-14.
- A 15-3 run from NCC which saw AU called for six fouls, several of which were offensive fouls had the home team in the lead.
- AU would trail 38-33 heading to halftime with a basket from
Matt Dunn just before the final buzzer of the opening half.
- The second half saw NCC shoot a large amount of free throws and collect a large rebounding differential to grow the AU deficit into double-digits.
- A late three from
Rashad Johnson gave AU the final basket of the game and an 83-73 final score.
