The Aurora University men's basketball team over came a double digit halftime deficit with an explosive second-half on the offensive end to rally past Trinity University, Texas to win 72-68.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Scoring was not at a premium early in the contest as the teams were in a one-point battle (16-15) with 9:22 left in the opening half. AU got a three from
Rashad Johnson to pull within one.
- A 15-3 run by Trinity closed out the final 7:20 of the half and AU went into intermission down 13 at 35-22.
- With 14 minutes left in the game, the Spartans trailed by a game high 18 points, 46-28.
- After getting the deficit to 10, AU found themselves down 13 with 9 minutes left, 55-42
- A Spartan 18-3 run fueled by De`Ante Walker and
Rashad Johnson, and capped by a
Jarek Hotwagner three found AU leading 65-60 with 3:58 to play.
- AU fought off a Trinity rally but did not give up the lead down the stretch.
- A pair of Walker free throws with seconds left sealed the win as AU was victorious 72-68.
