The Aurora University men's basketball team dropped Wednesday night #NACCtion at home against Concordia University Wisconsin 101-92 in a battle of two of the top teams in the NACC men's basketball conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A slow start found the Spartans trailing 6-2 early but a 7-2 run put AU up 9-8 with 14:58 remaining in the first half after a three from Tyler Carlson.
- With 12:28 remaining in the first half, Carlson made his second three of the day to give the Spartans a 14-13 lead.
- After being down 24-20 the Spartans went on a hot streak scoring 14 unanswered points to go up 34-24 with 5:17 remaining in the half.
- With 2:40 remaining in the half and Garrett Hoffmann threaded through the CUW defense to extend the score to 45-37.
- AU saw their lead disappear when CUW responded with an 8-2 run to end the half to knot the score at 47-47.
- The start of the second half saw both teams swapping buckets and trading the lead until CUW gained the advantage with 14:55 remaining in the game. AU trailed 60-57.
- Shortly after an AU timeout the Spartans regained the lead with a Bailey Vance three-point strike. AU led 67-64 with 12:10 remaining.
- The game remained close with 7:45 remaining as AU trailed 76-74.
- After falling behind 88-79 AU gained momentum to pull within one point on a Demetrius Pointer three with 2:40 remaining in the game. AU trailed 88-87.
- AU's late surge was not enough as the Spartans were defeated by CUW by a score of 101-92.

- Tyler Carlson had 21 points, two rebounds and two assists
- Bailey Vance had 20 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals
- Matt Dunn had 13 points and seven assists.
