The Aurora University men's hockey team dropped a non-conference matchup to the Lake Forest Foresters on the second annual Teddy Bear Toss night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU found themselves trailing 1-0 with 3:58 left to play in the first period after a miscommunication in the defensive zone led to an open net goal.
- The Spartans trailed 1-0 for the remainder of the first two periods despite out shooting the Foresters.
- Although the Spartans out shot the the Foresters in shots  on goal they were unable to capitalize on their opportunities throughout the contest.
- Lake Forest added three goals in the third period, a power play goal, a crazy bounce off the boards to an empty net and an empty net tally.
