The Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team had already clinched the No. 6 seed for the upcoming Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament heading into the final regular season on Saturday afternoon with Marian University. The Spartans celebrated senior day for senior manager

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans used several large runs in the first quarter to take a commanding lead. A 10-0 run early led to a 13-3 lead and later in the quarter a 14-3 run put AU up 30-11.
- After one quarter, the Spartans led 35-15.
- The second quarter saw the Spartans build a 25-point lead (40-15) but a late Marian run sent the teams to halftime with AU leading by 18, 49-31.
- In the third, AU used a 16-2 run to put the game well out of hand. Leading by 16, 53-37, a
Bri Hall lay-up started the run that sent the Spartans lead into the 30's.
- After three quarters, AU led 71-41.
- The fourth quarter saw all Spartans see action and AU end on an 11-1 run and win 91-46.
FOR THE SPARTANS
- All 16 dressed Spartans saw action with 12 scoring in the game.
