Inaugural Women's Hockey season concludes

The final game of the inaugural 2017-2018 season for the Aurora University women's hockey team took place on Saturday afternoon in Hancock, Michigan with the Spartans falling to Finlandia University 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Finlandia took a 2-0 lead in the first period with two goals at 6:41 and 9:46 of the period.
- Spartan goaltender Becca Binder and the AU defense kept the game a two-goal deficit as the teams headed into the third period.
- In the third, Finlandia added a tally at 9:02 before adding a late empty net goal for the 4-0 final score.
- The Spartans had a game-high 14 shots in the second period but were just unable to find the back of the net.
