HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans found themselves trailing 8-0 midway through the first-half.
- AU's Marina Kanner and Kristina Krokosz scored 35 seconds a part and with 15:05 to go in the first, AU trailed 9-2.
- Krokosz completed a first-half hat trick as she scored the last two goals of the half and AU went to intermission down 10-4.
- The Spartans were out scored 7-2 in the second-half with Kanner scoring both AU goals.
- AU would fall to the Cardinals 17-6.
