The Aurora University men's volleyball team hosted No. 10 Mount St. Joseph University Lions on Saturday afternoon in Thornton Gymnasium. The Spartans gave the Lions all they could handle but fell 3-0 despite two of the sets going extra time.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Spartans led for a good portion of the first set and forced a MSJU timeout late and leading 23-20.
- Out of the timeout though, the Lions roared back and went on to win 27-25.
- In the second set the Spartans again went right at the Lions and the set was tied 18-18 before again the Lions pulled away to win 25-22.
- The third and what would end up as final set played out much like the first. AU led late 21-19 but could just not quite hold on and fell 26-24.
