Berkman reaches 100 coaching wins as Spartans defeat Britons

The Aurora University men's lacrosse team rallied in the second-half to defeat the Albion College Britons 8-6 in Albion, Michigan on Sunday afternoon. The win was a significant one as AU Head Coach Kylor Berkman earned win 100 on the sideline of the Spartan program.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU scored first on a man-up opportunity with Joey Lucchesi scoring off a Tanner Lerdahl assist.
- Lucceshi scored again late in the first quarter to tie the score 2-2.
- The Spartans took a 3-2 lead early in the second with Trevor McNamara getting the tally on an assists from Lucchesi.
- Albion scored the last three goals of the second and took a 5-3 lead into the halftime intermission.
- AU tightened the screws on the Britons in the second-half, allowing just one goal and forcing nine turnovers.
- The Spartans responded on offense as well, scoring three times in the third.
- 41 seconds into the fourth, Ben Arends scored on a man-up to give AU the lead for good.
- Joe Brandolino added a goal 51 seconds later, the final goal for either team in the game.
- AU would win 8-6.
