Biography

2018: Appeared in 17 games for the Spartans, he recorded 20 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers. Was named Midwest Lacrosse Conference First-Team All-Conference.

2017: Appeared in 17 games for the Spartans, starting in 16 of them. He recorded 32 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers. Named 2017 First Team All-MLC.

2016: Appeared in 20 games for the Spartans, starting 16 of them. He recorded 4 goals, 49 ground balls, and 20 caused turnovers. Named to Second Team All-MLC.

2015: Appeared in 22 games, starting in 12 of them. He recorded 17 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. He was also named Second Team All-MLC.

High School: Attended Penn High school and played hockey and lacrosse. Under coach Colonel J.D. Walker he received, All State honorable mention Defense as a sophomore, All State honorable mention LSM as a junior, and All State 2nd team LSM.
 
Family: Parents Jim and Barb Hiss. He has two brothers Matt and Zach.
