SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE 
- Early AU offense and senior pitcher Jacob Stockman were the story in game one.
- Stockman took an early lead and hurled seven shut out, three-hit innings while striking out seven. 
- Jeff Mayes led off the game with a home run to left and was followed by back to back doubles from Jett Wedekind and Davis Purviance. AJ Gill doubled later in the inning and the Spartans led 3-0.
- CUW was able to get a hit off Stockman in the first and second innings but he then went on to allow just two more base runners the remainder of the game.
- In the third, the Spartans plated four runs behind two walks, two hits and one CUW error.
- The Spartans then added a pair in the fourth and one each in the fifth and sixth to enact the mercy rule.
- AU won 11-0 with the game ending in seven innings.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- The Spartans left two runners stranded in each of the first two innings before plating a run in the fourth. A lead off walk by Paul Dobravec was followed by an AJ Gill single and Dobravec later scored in a sac fly out by Bryan Larsen.
- CUW tied the game in the bottom of the inning and through four complete, the score was 1-1.
- AU went on to trail for the first time all day in the fifth with CUW scoring two runs.
- In the seventh, a CUW grand slam was a big blow as the home team scored five times and led 8-1.
- AU threatened in the eighth but left Purviance and Dobravec stranded (both had singled to reach).\
- The Spartans fell in game two 8-1.
