The Aurora University Spartan softball team swept a doubleheader with Milwaukee School of Engineering on Saturday afternoon, winning 6-1 and 9-5.

GAME ONE - HOW IT HAPPENED

Steph Renner kept the CUW bats quiet as the Spartans threatened over the first five innings but the game remained scoreless.
- A lead-off double by
Sam Owens in the sixth generated a run later in the inning and the Spartans led 1-0.
- A two out rally in the seventh with the aid of a CUW error led to three Spartans runs as
Sam Owens drove in two on a triple.
- Renner shut out the Falcons as AU won 4-0.
GAME TWO - HOT IT HAPPENED
- AU scored in the top of the first of game two with
Elaine Walker, singling to start the game, moving to second, stealing third and scoring on a passed ball.
- In the third, AU got three hits including a double from
Josie Bachtell to score three runs and grab a 4-0 lead.
- AU pitcher
Hannah Tomasko picked up in the circle in game two and held the Falcons scoreless for the first five innings.
- CUW was able to push across a pair of runs in the sixth but AU and Tomasko held firm and won 4-2.
