The Aurora University women's volleyball team returned to the court on Tuesday night at Concordia University Chicago with AU winning a closely played match 3-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED -
- The Spartans led throughout the opening set and used a 5-0 run to end the set for a 25-14 win.
- AU held a 17-11 lead in the second set but the hosts made two long runs to win the set 25-23.
- A 7-0 run midway through the third set with
Emily Lines at the service line led to the Spartans winning easily 25-15 and taking a 2-1 match lead.
- AU trailed early in the fourth set and down 12-6 the Spartans began their rally. After AU tied the set at 15 and a CUC timeout,
Katie Vondra collected a kill to take a 16-15 lead. The set remained close and with the score tied 22-22, kills from
Imani Freeman and Vondra gave the Spartans a 24-22 lead.
- Freeman put the match to an end with a kill giving the Spartans a 25-23 win and a 3-1 match win.
