Collin Foreman got the scoring started in the 11th minute when he got a rebound of his own pass and beat the keeper making it 1-0 AU.
- The Spartans added another goal by
Christian Duarte with 53 seconds remaining in the first half on a penalty kick.
- AU took a 2-0 lead into halftime.Â
- Illinois Tech responded quickly out of halftime cutting the Spartan lead to 2-1. The goal came on a bicycle kick off a corner.
- In the 72nd minute AU was awarded a free kick and
Collin Foreman scored his 2nd goal of the night

Andrew Grabowski added a late goal as he pump faked and beat the goalie high.
- The Spartans won 4-1.
