The Aurora University Spartan men's soccer team tied with Edgewood College Saturday night by a score of 1-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The opening minutes saw a lot of possession changes between the Eagles and Spartans.
- The match got a little heated when the referee had to give several verbal warnings and eventually a yellow card to Edgewood.
- Both teams traded scoring chances late in the first half but could not put a ball in the back of the net.
- In the 71st minute of the match Edgewood was rewarded a corner kick that got through the Aurora defense and lead to a header in the box giving the Eagles a 1-0 lead. 
- The Spartans responded quickly when Collin Foreman dribbled through the Eagle defense and shot the ball from the top right box and beat the keeper to the right side of the net. 
- Again each team had scoring chances but failed to put the ball in the net to take the lead in the final minutes of regulation.
- Both overtimes saw no goals or action near the net.
- AU tied with Edgewood 1-1.
