The Aurora University Spartan men's soccer team hosted the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors on a cool fall night at Spartan Stadium. The Spartans and Warriors played a battle down to the final minutes with AU coming out as the victors 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans fell behind early in the 5
th minute when Wisconsin Lutheran scored on a through ball in the top of the box.
- AU responded later in the 14
th minute with a goal of their own. Eduardo Carillo passed the ball to
Jeremey Perales who took a shot from deep beyond the box that found the top right corner of the net.
- Both teams took the 1-1 tie to the 44
th minute until a Warrior corner kick led to a goal.
- AU trailed 2-1 at the end of the first half.
- In the 59
th minute AU tied the game at 2-2 after a through ball from Jake Lysik led to a Spartan goal from
Kyle Seymour.
- The tie did not last long though when a loose ball in the 60
th minute led to a Warrior goal. AU trailed 3-2.
- In the 69
th minute AU tied the game again after a quick corner kick from
Collin Foreman to Jake Lysik who passed the ball across the box where a header from
Henry Zehnal got past the goalie to tie the game at 3-3.
- Minutes later the Spartans scored another goal. A loose ball found
Henry Zehnal and he buried his second of the day. AU led for the first time 4-3 in the 78
th minute.
- AU held on for the remainder of the game and went on to win 4-3 against Wisconsin Lutheran College.
