Spartans drop NACC road contest

The Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team fell on the road to Concordia University Wisconsin 73-57 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans opened up the game and led CUW 9-0.
- A deep three from Alyssa Brems put AU up 10 with 5:39 remaining in the first quarter. AU led 12-2
- AU led 17-12 at the end of the first.
- AU gave up the lead early in the second quarter and fell victim to an 8-0 run from CUW and trailed 33-27 at the end of the first half. 
- The second half started with both teams getting the cold hand and struggling to score.
- Meija Rabi scored eight of the team's 10 points in the third quarter.
- AU trailed 47-37 after three quarters.
- The fourth quarter saw the AU deficit grow but with 3:19 remaining in the game a short jumper from Kylie Kaylor capped off a 6-0 Spartan run to pull within 11. AU trailed 64-53.
- AU would go on and fall to Concordia University Wisconsin 73-57.
