The Aurora University men's hockey team dropped a road contest 5-3 on Friday afternoon at Concordia University Wisconsin.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans scored early in the first period at 4:16 with Drew Doyon giving AU the lead. He was assisted by Larry Jungwirth on the play,
- AU maintained the 1-0 lead until late in the first when CUW scored to draw even.ts 
- Early in the second, CUW scored to go up 2-1 on the Spartans.
- With 2:08 left in the second, AU drew even. Roberts Baranovskis got the equalizer on an assist from Anthony Tzveyn.
- The teams headed to the final period tied 2-2.
- Special teams were a factor in the next two goals with CUW scoring a power play tally early in the third.
- Midway through the third, AU drew even with a short handed goal from Shawn O'Malley and an assist to Larry Jungwirth.
- CUW scored the games final two goals at 12:14 and 16:06 to defeat the Spartans 5-3.
