The Aurora University Spartan women's basketball team had their win streak snapped at six games with a 80-72 loss to Dominican University. Spartan junior Meija Rabi had a valiant effort in the loss with a 32-point, 14 rebound double-double.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU took control of the game early going on an 8-0 run to start the game..
- With 4:57 remaining in the first quarter AU lost their lead following three, three-point shots from Dominican. AU trailed 11-10.
- The remainder of the first quarter saw the two teams trading the lead with AU having the 22-21 advantage thanks to a last second foul that sent Kylie Kaylor to the line to give the Spartans the lead.
- After a 7-0 visitors run, AU fell behind 31-24 with 7:18 remaining in the second quarter.
- After trailing by as much as 10 points in the second quarter AU was able to pull within six points behind 17 first half points from Meija Rabi.
- AU trailed 44-38 going into halftime.
- Despite putting together good scoring opportunities AU was unable to close the gap to any closer than four points in the third quarter.
- At the end of the third quarter AU trailed 59-52. 
- In the fourth, AU saw the deficit build to 13 with 3:12 left.
- A 7-1 run got the Spartans within seven at 76-69 but that was as close as AU would get down the stretch.
- AU fell to Dominican University 80-72
