The Aurora University men's soccer team remained unbeaten in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play with a dominating 4-1 win over Concordia University Wisconsin on Vago Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans got on the board first in the 11th minute when
Salvador Garcia found the back of the net off a cross. He was assisted by
Christian Duarte and
Justin Rutherford on the play.
- With 23:47 on the clock, AU added to their lead.
Julio Acosta dished a pass to
George Yanez. Yanez connected on a rocket to the upper 90 and AU led 2-0.
- The Spartans took a 2-0 lead into halftime.
- Just over 10 minutes into the second-half, AU added on to their lead.
- Duarte picked up his second assist of the day when he sent in a pass from the near corner which found
Jorge Patino. Patino flicked the ball into the right corner and AU led 3-0.
- Six minutes later, AU scored again with the wind conditions aiding in the tally.
- Spartan
Connor Erickson took a free kick from midfield. His kick landed in front of the CUW goalie but the ball took a huge hop over his head and into the net and AU led 4-0.
- CUW added a goal in the 76th minute to break up the shutout bid for Spartan
Jalen Depenbrock.
- Depenbrock earned the win while making 15 saves.
