The Aurora University men's soccer team remained unbeaten in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play with a 6-1 road win over Rockford University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans scored 15 minutes into the game on a Julio Acosta goal, assisted by Salvador Garcia and Eduardo Carrillo.
- The score would remain close leading unto halftime, with the Spartans holding a 1-0 lead.
- The second half saw a flurry of activity as the Spartans scored another five goals in the half. The first of those five came 53 minutes into the game when Justin Rutherford scored from a few yards out on a great pass from Henry Zehnal.
- Justin Rutherford scored again, just minutes later, to give the Spartans a 3-0 advantage. The goal was assisted by Alejandro Torres.
- Matt Napolitano scored in the 68th minute on a assist from Leandro Deagueros.
- The Spartans added yet another goal on the night when Osvaldo Zarinana buried a shot from 20 yards out on an assist from Eduardo Carrillo and Leandro Deagueros.
- In the 80th minute of the game, Rockford was able to get a goal of their own on a shot from ten yards out.
- The Spartans had the final goal of the night when Domenico Capezzuto scored off a rebound in the 81st minute.
- AU would go on to win with a 6-1 final over Rockford.
