The Aurora University women's soccer team continued their offensive onslaught, as they have tallied 14 goals in the past two games. The Spartans defeated the Lakeland University Muskies
6-0 on Senior Day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans controlled the game early, putting the pressure on the Muskie defense, but LU strong for the first 40 minutes.
- Madison Moore was the first Spartan to score, as she gathered a loose ball in front of the goal and turned around to bury a shot in the 41st minute.
- AU lead at halftime 1-0.
- Early in the second half,
Emma Aguilar put the Spartans up 2-0, as she collected a pass from
Corina Leyva and snuck a shot past the Muskie goalkeeper.
- In the 56th minute,
Corina Leyva scored again on a deflection off the goalkeeper, extending the Spartan lead to 3-0.

Corina Leyva tallied her second goal of the game on a sweet assist from
Jasmine Ascencio in the 64th minute.

Alexis Abelove made the most of her Senior Day as she scored the next two Spartan Goals. The first coming off a set piece as she buried a shot in the upper 90 from just outside the 18 yard box.
- As the final minutes of the game ticked away, Abelove scored again,
- The Spartans would go on to win 6-0.
