The Aurora University women's volleyball team wrapped up the 2019 regular season with a pair of matches against teams ranked in the latest AVCA poll. The Spartans split the matches, defeating UW-Whitewater 3-0 before falling to Carthage 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED -
- The Spartans found the first set with UWW tied 17-17 before a pair of kills from
Sydnei Avery and two aces from
Miranda Cada gave AU a 21-17 lead.
- AU went on to win the set 25-19.
- A 6-0 AU run midway through the second set vaulted the Spartans to a 26-24 win and a commanding 2-0 lead.
- AU withstood a strong rally from Whitewater in the middle of the third set and held on to win 25-17 and knock off a ranked opponent 3-0.

- The Spartans were playing tight with Carthage in the first set but a run in the middle of the set allowed Carthage to win the set 25-17.
- AU trailed 5-0 and didn't recover in the second set, losing 25-13.
- AU dropped the third set 25-15 and fell 3-0.
