The Aurora University women's soccer team's season concluded on Sunday with a loss to Milwaukee School of Engineering in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tournament quarterfinals. The Spartans fought all the way until the final whistle, but ultimately came up just short, falling to MSOE 2-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the 19th minute, MSOE was the first to score, when a long cross bounced off the post and the Raiders were able to score the put-back goal.
- The Spartans and the Raiders battled for the remainder of the half, with neither team scoring again. The Raiders lead at halftime 1-0.
- The Raiders would score again in the 52nd minute, when a MSOE shot into the right upper ninety slipped just out of
Kelsey Deck's reach, giving MSOE a 2-0 lead.
- The Spartans cut the Raider lead in half in the 80th minute on
Beth Grotelueschen's header off an
Alexis Abelove corner kick.
- Spartans would go on to lose 2-1.
