The Aurora University men's soccer team faced archrival Benedictine in the semifinals of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference tournament. In a closely contested battle, the Spartans fell to the Eagles 1-0. With the loss, the Spartans were eliminated from the NACC tournament.

- In th 23rd minute, Justin Rutherford's header off a well placed Spartan cross just missed wide right.
- Jalen Depenbrock was solid in goal, saving both shots on goal he faced in the first half.
- The game would remain scoreless at halftime, with the score tied 0-0.
- The Eagles broke the tie on a goal in the 68th minute.
- Spartans would go on to lose 1-0.
