The Aurora University women's hockey team remained unbeaten on the season with a 7-1 victory at St. Olaf College to open the two game series on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans found themselves down a goal 1:04 into the first period.
- Late in the first and on the power play, AU tied the contest with a goal from
Lexie Martinez. She was assisted by
Sadie Parton and
Olivia Matson.
- The game would remain 1-1 going to the first intermission.
- Just 39 seconds into the second period, Martinez struck again with the eventual game winning goal.
Olivia Monzel added the helper on the play.
- With 5:35 left in the second,
Sadie Parton scored an unassisted tally to give AU a 3-1 lead.
- Leading 3-1 going into the third, the Spartans opened the flood gates with four goals.
- Martinez registered the hat trick at 7:31 in the third with assists from
Marissa Dunbar and
Olivia Matson.
- 2:30 later,
Nicole McKernan got in on the goal scoring with her fourth of the season as she was assisted by
Marisa Trevino and
Hannah Gwillim.
- 2:20 later,
Marissa Dunbar added a goal giving AU a 6-1 lead. She was assisted by McKernan and Trevino.
- The games scoring came to an end with 4:15 left as Trevino scored on a helper from McKernan.

Chiara Pfosi again played well in net to collect her third win of the season.
