The Aurora University men's basketball team beat the MSOE Raiders on the road in #NACCtion. The Spartans got off to a strong start, building their lead to 18 with 17:10 left to play in the game. The Raiders cut the lead to one with just 21 seconds remaining in the second half. A pair of Spartan free throws would keep AU on top and secure the 93-90 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- AU jumped out to a quick lead on a three point basket from
Jarek Hotwagner.
- The Spartans would go on to hold that lead until 14:56 remaining in the first half, when a MSOE layup off a defensive rebound gave them a 11-10 lead.
- For the next five minutes, the Spartans and Raiders exchanged leads several times, until a
Ha'ashim Keys layup at 9:17 put the Spartans on top, 25-23. AU would stay on top throughout the remaining minutes of the first half.
- AU led 50-34 at half.
- The Spartans continued their sharp shooting in the second half, building their lead to 18 points with 17:10 left to play,
- MSOE would then mount a comeback, cutting the AU lead to five with 11:53 left to play, 64-59.
- The Spartans' offense responded, building their lead back to 13 on a pair of
Justin Wierzgac free throws with 6:26 remaining in the second half.
- The Raiders would not go quietly, going on another run and cutting the AU lead to one, 91-90, with just 21 seconds to play in regulation.

Ethan Conroy hit two free throws with 13 seconds left on the clock to extend the Spartan lead to three, 93-90.
- The Raiders last second three to tie the game was off the mark and the Spartans would go on to win 93-90.
