- The Spartans trailed for most of the first quarter but managed to tie the contest late at 20-20 on a Galauner lay-up.
- AU would trail 23-21 after the first quarter concluded.
- Midway through the second, AU took their first lead on back to back buckets from
Karissa King.
- The Spartans would go on to lead heading to the halftime break at 37-35.
- In the third, both AU and Earlham grabbed leads with the Spartans getting a three point play in the final seconds from
Julie Galauner to lead 52-50.
- The Spartans took a lead midway through the fourth on a three from Galauner before Galauner and
Allie Reichert went 8-of-10 from the free throw line down the stretch to seal the win at 69-65.
