The Aurora University Spartan men's basketball team returned to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season with a match-up at No. 3 Augustana College. The Spartans fell to the Vikings 93-67.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Spartans trailed Augustana 12-8 just before the games first media timeout.
- Coming out of the timeout, Augustana began a run that didn't end until the half ended.
- AU trailed at halftime 60-29.
- The Spartans were able to get Augustana in foul trouble in the first-half and converted on 15-of-17 from the free-throw line.
- AU battled in the second-half but the deficit was too much to overcome.
- The Spartans fell in the first round NCAA contest 93-67

- Terrell Wilson had 15 points, which included 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.
