The Aurora University men's volleyball team played well but came up shy in a rematch with the ranked Dominican University Stars 3-1 on Wednesday night at Dominican.

- The Spartans led in the first set 18-17 on a kill from Justin Elliott.
- AU would fall though 25-22.
- After a kill from Elliott and service ace from Jack Fischer, the Spartans didn't trail again, leading 9-7.
- The Spartans tied the match at 1-1 with a 25-22 win in set two.
- The third set was tied 21-21 but AU only managed one point down the stretch and fell 25-22.
- AU trailed 10-3 in the fourth set but battled back to down 23-19 late.
- The Spartans would fall though 25-19 and lose the match 3-1.
