The Aurora University baseball team played their final doubleheader of the spring trip in Tucson, Arizona and split with St. Olaf College, winning 16-8 before losing for the first time in 2019, 7-5.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE
- The Spartans used two long home runs from
AJ Gill and
Michael Fidler to score six times in the third to lead 6-0.
- After Olaf scored four runs in the bottom half of the third, AU went back to work on offense.
- This time the Spartans scored nine runs with two run doubles from
Paul Dobravec and
Davis Purviance.
- Through 3-1/2 innings, AU led 15-4.
- AU added another run with Dobravec driving in
Jett Wedekind.
- The Spartans went on to win 16-9.
- All nine offensive starters collected at least one hit, drove in a run and scored a run in the win.
SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- AU took a 1-0 lead in the first on a pair of doubles from
Jett Wedekind and
Paul Dobravec.
- In the second, Olaf scored three times to go up 3-1 on the Spartans.
- The Spartans responded to tie the game at 3-3 in the third.
- In the sixth, Olaf scored three times with two outs and led the Spartans 6-3.
- Olaf added a run in the seventh and led 7-3.
- AU didn't go down quietly though as they scored twice in the seventh and had the tying run at the plate before the final out was made.
- The Spartans suffered their first loss of 2019, 7-5.
