Road unkind to softball

The Aurora University softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader at MSOE, losing game one 9-1 and game two 4-2.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE
- The Spartans fell behind 6-0 after two innings of play.
- AU scored one run in the fifth thanks to a pair of walks and two MSOE errors.
- MSOE scored three runs in the sixth inning to end the game, 9-1.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- AU trailed 4-0 going into the seventh inning.
- The Spartans got three singles and scored twice and had the bases loaded with two outs when the final out was made.

Next action for the Spartan softball team comes on Monday, April 15 when they are scheduled to host Concordia University Wisconsin in a NACC doubleheader. First pitch of game one is set for 5:00 p.m. in Bedrosian Stadium at Spartan Athletic Park.
