The Aurora University women's lacrosse team took on the Sabres of Marian University for the first time and the Spartans imposed their will on the visitors, scoring early on their way to a 19-2 victory.

- AU ked 5-0 with a pair of goals from Marina Kanner less than nine minutes into the game.
- Kanner, Olivia Matson and Claire Carlson all picked up hat tricks in the first-half as AU led 13-1 heading to halftime.
- With the running clock enacted, AU controlled the game in the second-half and went on to win 19-2.
- Nine different Spartans tallied a goal and nine of the goals had assists with the Spartans moving the ball well throughout the contest.
