The Aurora University softball team came from behind in both games of a NACC doubleheader with Concordia Chicago, winning both games 3-2 and 6-3.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME ONE
- An error in the first inning led to two Concordia runs and AU trailed 2-0.
- The Spartans loaded the bases to start the bottom of the first with Sam Owens driving in Elaine Walker with a sac fly.
- After one inning, AU trailed 2-1.
- The game remained 2-1 until the bottom of the fifth. With two outs, Nina Tholl, Sam Owens and Josie Lytton all singled and tied the game 2-2.
- In the sixth, Mckenzie Flores led off with a single, after an error and a walk loaded the bases, Josie Bachtell hit a long fly out to score Emily NG (pinch runner for Flores).
- Spartan pitcher Stephanie Renner struck out the final batter to seal the 3-2 AU win.

SPARTAN HIGHLIGHTS - GAME TWO
- Game two did not start well for AU as the first two Cougars reached on errors. With two outs, Concordia got a single to score two runs and AU trailed 2-0.
- A home run in the second saw AU down 3-0.
- With two outs in the third, Josie Bachtell and Nina Tholl singles were followed by a Sam Owens double and AU was on the board, down 3-1.
- In the fifth, the Spartan offense exploded. The first four Spartans reached with Brianna Lewis and Elaine Walker scoring to tie the game. A one out triple from Bryanna Perez gave AU their first lead of the game at 5-3. With two outs, pinch hitter Megan Schwartz hit an infield single to score Perez and AU led 6-3.
- In the seventh, Stephanie Renner came on in relief of starter Hannah Tomasko in the seventh following a lead off walk. Renner struck out two the three batters she faced for a save in the 6-3 AU win.
